Covered Bridge Motel

I like the knots pine wood look, reminds me of a log cabin. Nice kitchenette, wit fridge, microwave and a hot plate in cabinet, and plenty of cabinet space for longer stays.

The manager was very accommodating with a late arrival due to car trouble. I like the knotty pine paneled room that reminds me of a cabin. The room was very clean, had a cold refrigerator and microwave and was quiet. There are excellent restaurants nearby.

Room was small but cozy. The bathroom was quite small, but it was good enough. The shower was just a little short for a taller person. We had many other things to do, so we just needed a place to sleep and shower, so it suited our needs. There was almost a full size fridge which seemed a bit overkill for the room, but it was nice to have a place to keep drinks cold. The walls are quite thin(someone's car alarm went off in the middle of the night and scared the heck out of me), but no worse than some hotels I've stayed in. The owners were very nice and very accommodating. We had a issue with one of our cats and ended up needing to shorten our stay and they took care of the adjustment no charge with more than 4 days notice. The room was also kept at a very nice temperature. Overall a pleasant stay.

I was lucky and there was a cancellation so I was able to stay at this delightful motel. I found it to be very quiet , comfy , and very clean. Pride of ownership is very evident here. It was very reasonably priced and the room was delightful. Thank you so much for such a pleasant stay. I hope I can stay here again. They have worked hard to make the rooms nice and clean and the grounds are beautifully planted and maintained. Thanks again for a great stay!

We stayed in may and we are back again! Beautiful rooms. Clean,quiet, very comfortable ! Lots of room for us! Nice refrigerator, microwave and air conditioning! Even a over head fan . Hot water was amazing after being on the river all day ! Very helpful staff. Love it. We are repeat customers for sure!!

Looking forward to staying there again soon . My room was large and clean . The knotty pine walls looked neat . 5 stars

This is a very quaint motel where I have been staying every other month for the past eight years. The owners are very hospitable and accommodating. They went so far as to provide me with a nice, large TV tray for me to do office work as there is no desk in the room. The rooms are small and the bathroom even smaller, but clean and comfortable and perfect for me on my business travels.

It’s true the bathroom/shower is small, I would say if you weigh over 200 pounds the show is not going to be the best for you. but the price is Small! The bed could use updating for comfort reasons. But again you get what you pay for overall it was clean and a nice Motel, I felt safe, which is important to me. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Had a full kitchen. It’s like being in the Northwoods. Nice seating outside. I would definitely stay again. Yes it’s a high step up into the shower.

The room was adorable and the shiny, old wood was gorgeous. Check-in was quick and friendly. There was a full-sized counter area, refrigerator and giant sink and a microwave. I found the bed to be really comfortable. At first I was frustrated by the lack of a table but be sure to look in the closet because there was a folding tray in there! I loved it here and it was also much quieter than I anticipated.

Stayed one night while traveling. I prefer to stay at a locally-owned property when possible. This little motel was great! Owner easy to deal with and very courteous. Room was compact, but in very good shape and very clean. Bed was great and everything in the room worked properly. The bathroom was also compact with only a stand-up shower, but plenty of hot water--and bathroom was also very clean. If traveling in the area, would definitely stay there again.
